Aksara Bercerita

Rain fell that night. Not heavily, but enough to make the sky cry for a child who had just been born into the world without ever being asked. In the Aksara family's big house, the sound of a baby's cry was not greeted with emotion. There was no warm hug, no congratulations. There was only silence... then a long sigh from a man who stared at the baby with cold eyes.

"Bringer of bad luck," muttered Aji Aksara, the baby's father, in a barely audible voice. "Why did you have to be born, Reivan?"
